THE CREW ONBOARD BIG CITY

Big City is manned by an experienced and professional crew of nine, under the guidance of Captain Barry Bramhill.


Captain / BARRY BRAMHILL / Canadian Barry began his career sailing on his home waters of Nova Scotia, Canada and has more than 25 years experience. He has cruised Eastern Canada, East Coast USA, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and the Western Indian Ocean. Captain Barry has been with the BIG CITY owner for the past eight years and was the build captain on the new BIG CITY. He has a passion for navigation and seamanship and enjoys outdoor photography. First Officer / Alex MacPherson / Canadian 1st Officer Alex MacPherson holds a 200-ton captains license and degrees in business and marketing. After a number of years of competitive sailing in his home province of Prince Edward Island, Canada, Alex joined the yachting industry 8 years ago. Since then, Alex gained solid experience as 1st mate aboard a 106 ft. sailing yacht. He recently made the change to motor yachts. Alex's off duty interests lie primarily in outdoor activities, which include photography and sailing.		Chief Engineer / Gamaleil Leon / AMERICAN Gam graduated from the Venezuelan Nautical School and is licensed as an Unlimited Merchant Marine Engineering Officer. After completing his studies he served on commercial ships for 10 years before coming to live in the USA in 2005. He has been in the yachting industry for 5 years and lives in Miami with his wife and son when he is not at sea. Gam’s hobbies are sports, reading and teaching Spanish to the rest of the crew.


Chef / Charles Wilson / CANADIAN Charlie joins BIG CITY with 16 years experience with several fine French and Pacific Coast fusion-based West Coast restaurants. He graduated with honors from the Dubrulle French Culinary Institute in Vancouver. Charlie aims to please and is happy to discuss your personal preferences on a one-to-one basis. Charlie enjoys playing and creating music, snowboarding and all water sports. He believes in keeping the mood light in the galley and approaching each day with a smile.		Chief Stewardess / Jasmine Agnew Chief Stewardess Jasmine Agnew left her hometown of Vancouver, Canada and started her career in the yachting industry nearly 5 years ago. She has a strong background in demanding costumer oriented service and hospitality at the highest standards. Today she prides herself on giving top end service with professionalism, knowledge of wines and superb service skills. Jasmine is highly motivated and knows the importance of good service. With a keen eye for detail and philosophy to anticipate and be prepared for every need before being asked, she is superbly capable of providing the level of service so well enjoyed aboard Big City. Jasmine enjoys soccer, skydiving, wakeboarding, sailing, surfing, kite boarding, fashion, traveling, cultures and languages.


Stewardess / Marica Albingco / Philippines 2nd Stewardess Marica Albingco is from the Philippines and is an experienced, professional and outgoing stewardess. With formal training as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing prior to yachting, she has cruised the South Pacific, the Mediterranean as well as the Caribbean. Prior to joining Big City, Marica worked aboard a number of well-known mega yachts, where she learned the many facets to becoming a top-notch stewardess. Dedicated, enthusiastic and always available to get things done, Marcia has a friendly, easy-going nature and always has a smile on her face.		Stewardess / Tessa-Lynn Beaton / South Africa 3rd Stewardess Tessa-Lynn Beaton, a gregarious, adventure-loving South African is the newest member to the Big City family. She is a real beach belle from all her exploring around the spectacular wild & rugged east coast of Africa where she camped, fished and cooked the ocean harvest. Her love for sailing developed after school and with a coastal skippers license in hand spent a very happy few months sailing the waters of NZ, Tonga and Fiji. This cemented her ambition to follow a career at sea and after a number of years in the entertainment and event field she has traveled to Florida and excited to embark the adventure aboard Big City.


Bosun / Caleb Wade / American Caleb hails from Cleveland, Ohio and holds a degree in marine biology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Caleb has more than two years' experience working aboard luxury yachts. He is very happy to be in an environment where he can follow his passion for the ocean as well as provide a great experience for guests aboard BIG CITY.		Deckhand / Trevor Hulbert / Colorado Deckhand Trevor Hulbert was born in sunny Colorado. He gained his love for the outdoors growing up in the mountains snowboarding, camping, hiking and water sports. Trevor began his yachting career in California while working in the marina where he grew an intense knowledge for boats and the oceans alike. A zest for life, consistent with people, food and travel, aptly sums up his predilection. Trevor is an easygoing person who loves to meet new people and experience different cultures.
